Joel Lewis

Database Coordinator

A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Joel was introduced to the world of nonprofits in 2013, when he took a position managing donor records for the American Red Cross. He quickly became proficient in the Raiser’s Edge fundraising database software as he managed the donor databases for the Red Cross’ Central New York and Oregon & Southwest Washington regions. In 2015, he joined the Healthcare Foundation as temporary staff in preparation for the third annual Wine Women & Shoes event.  By the time the event had finished, Joel had integrated so well with the team that he accepted a permanent position with the Foundation.

Joel currently lives near Portland, Oregon, where he works remotely to maintain the Healthcare Foundation’s donor records. In his free time he enjoys designing spaceships, going on walks, and spending time with his three cats.
